The Soweto Gospel Choir has been nominated for a 2019 Grammy Award, for the new Album “FREEDOM”.
The group’s nomination in the World Music Album category was announced on Friday 8 December in Los Angeles.
The Choir has previously won two Grammys, in 2008 and 2007, both in The Best Traditional World Music Album category.
The Grammy Awards ceremony will take place on Sunday, 10 February.
