Sadly, one of our founding members Fikile Sidumo, passed away from heart failure on Thursday night. Fikile was a lead singer in the choir with an amazing and unusual voice, which left everyone who heard it, in awe. She was a loyal, kind and strong lady who loved being in the choir. Our condolences and prayers go out to her family and friends – we will all miss her so much.

Soweto Gospel Choir was formed to celebrate the unique and inspirational power of African Gospel music.
The 52-strong choir, under the direction of Beverly Bryer, draws on the best talent from the many churches in and around Soweto.
The choir is dedicated to sharing the joy of faith through music with audiences around the world.
